That was with a near new profile, only 2 runs played before. So I had a very limited joker pool available. Results should vary depending on what's unlocked.

There's a condition to get a Cavendish.
You need to first have Gros Michel spoil, that's the 1 in 6 chance of it being destroyed. Once that happened in a run, you then have a chance to find a Cavendish in that run only.
So things have to go particularly well to find one that early.

I had no idea this was difficult. But then it's something that happens when you are ignorant and new. I'm ignorant and old. I've seen this before, maybe on my second or third run ever. Never seen it again, of course, and I've been wondering why.

I am thinking of the right Boss, right? Isn't the Tooth the one where you lose $1 for every card played? I was playing flushes on the Checkered Deck (trying to do all the stake unlocks), so I lost a LOT of money.

I think it's absurd that this boss can actually put you in debt.

Yeah, you're right, that's what the Tooth does. I rarely lose more than $10 to that boss. Then I immediately make at least 6-7$ back for defeating it, plus any economy joker earnings, it feels like a blank boss most of the times.

Next Cavendish in 6.5 hours , good luck with the Checkered grind.
