Feature Request - Controller Instant Restart

I play on controller and hear that KBM has a feature to restart a run with the R key. I think it'd be a great idea to have the restart feature on controller by clicking and holding both analog sticks for 4 seconds with some kind of animated visual indicator (i.e. A visually unique joker that has a circle slowly encroach around it like a progress bar). I think 3-4 seconds makes for enough time to reconsider the decision while not being so long that navigating through the menu always becomes the preferred option. Quick and satisfying, but also intentional. To make this feature better, a toggleable option in the menu to turn this on/off could be great too. Add in a unique audio cue that doesn't appear elsewhere in the game and it becomes a really nice accessibility option.

Crazy to think that this game claims to be fully compatible with controller yet not be able to restart easily like you can with PC. NOT fully compatible then is it. Also ridiculous that it doesn't show anywhere even for pc that you can do it by holding R.

I think it is fully controller compatible, just not feature-perfect. If Balatro's future involves adding new decks for new playstyles, adding the quick-restart to controllers would be a great addition. Personally I treat each deck like a separate campaign and try to beat each stake on them sequentially. But in doing so, I've played at at least a few thousand runs and it would be great to quickly tap out of a run when I'm not feeling it's worth my time. For people that have completed at least one gold stake, I'm sure they have adjusted their game speed to 4x. The next evolution of quick gameplay in my mind, especially for a completionist, would be to restart a run faster than menu.
