Report a translation problem
Once you have played a hand, The Mouth forces you to keep playing that hand type, else it does not score at all.
You played HC. HC is now the only scoring option you have.
Read the Mouth's description again.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. Lost at ante 9 thanks to that.
EDIT: Sorry, I meant ante 7, not 9.
Example: If you were to play a flush hand first with The Mouth: Boss Blind, any hand other than a flush will not count against scoring
If you were to play a high card hand like you did, even with the stone card, you can then only play high cards, any other type of hand is will not count otherwise, so misinterpretation on your part is the fault here
Maybe you confused it for The Eye: Boss Blind: in which is the one where you can only play each type of hand once
