I'm surprised no one here has mentioned the Balatro Multiplayer Mod. It literally does what most people are suggesting here. Just google Balatro Multiplayer Mod. There's even a Reddit post with an complete installation guide.

It's pretty fun! I can be frustrating for people with different skill levels, but I suppose that's all PVP multiplayer games in general.

We need official PvP support, even an online co-op mode would be cool.
