I love Balatro!
The amount of things you can do in this game is just so much fun to discover. Check this, for example. It's the Nebula Deck, just so you know!

I started out with a Stencil, right? That's x5 mult with no other Jokers. Then, I get a Holographic Hallucination. +10 mult, x4. I roll like that for a couple of Antes, meanwhile I keep profiting off the random Tarot cards that Hallucination is giving me for opening planet packs, which keep giving me Two Pair cards as I keep playing Two Pair. Then, I run into Steel Joker, and I already had 2 Steel Cards, so that was x1.4 mult added. Fortune Teller comes along, and it was already at +20 mult, so I trade it out for the Hallucination, thus doubling my +mult without sacrificing xmult from Stencil. And then, the best card that ever existed in Balatro (for me) comes along. BLUEPRINT. Place it to the right of Stencil and suddenly I have x4 mult instead of x3, and with the Steel up to x1.6, that's x5.6 mult. By now, Fortune Teller was up to +27 mult, and the Boss Blind on 8 was Crimson Heart. First to get disabled was the Steel Joker, but with x4 mult, and a handful of Lucky cards, I beat the blind with almost 200k.

4/5 wins on PC now! Almost there with the challenge mode!

See trolls, this is a good example of someone coming here to ask for help and actually taking advice and making progress. Good job Sasha.

Hah, cheers, Commander! I did end up losing the run in Ante 10 because Two Pairs just failed to come to my hand but, y'know, there's that RNG side of this game. Sometimes, the cards just refuse to play into your hand and that's a-okay. I'm having a hard time not being a one-trick pony and just diversifying my playstyles to ensure better chances at success but I'm working on it, and trying to understand how to make things run smoother! I think it was you who said that this game is easy to pick up, but the learning curve is very steep.
The other thing is that the game is very specifically only balanced for ante 1-8 so you never need to feel bad about losing the game after that. No matter how skilled or lucky you are are endless mode gets everyone eventually.

Hah, yeah, not mad at all. I won the run, that's all that matters.

Well... I impulsively went and hit "unlock all" after struggling to get that 5/5 win to unlock challenge mode. And now I feel like I've cheated entirely, and the game suddenly lost its fun. Guess it's time to just make a new profile and start aaaaaaall over again.

Yep, there's exactly one unlock for beating ante 11 (and by extension the two achievements for completing the Voucher collection and all collections). That only has to be done once, for the memes.
