tips for getting $400?

its the last Joker I need to unlock and I've been having difficulty doing it, any specific decks that work well for it or setups I should aim for?

Update: managed to do it! got to it by duping some gold stamped lucky cards with a lucky cat and to the moon

Remember you don't have to do it before Ante 9. Continue in Endless until you reach the target. (You still are quite time limited. Most builds will fail at the start of ante 12 if not before. But the extra time helps.)

Play white stake obviously, carry some money jokers, make the final stretch when you have a run that looks good.

An early Rocket or a To The Moon with the expanded interest vouchers are especially strong money money jokers. To Do List can be very powerful too but requires active management.

Though I'd think all of those except maybe the Endless continuation would be obvious if you've already unlocked every other joker?

If you luck into Perkeo, that will trivialize it. Similarly, Bull and Bootstraps will make it vastly easier by letting your saved money win hands for you.

Well, if you happen to find Bull early enough that's a good moment to get it and look for economy jokers. Even moreso if you decide to use Plasma Deck, which wins the game with $223 and just Bull (unless you get Violet Vessel) so you can go all in on econ. But aside from that, any sufficiently strong build that leaves an opening for an economy joker will work. And the Money Seed/Tree vouchers, while not mandatory, obviously will make it a lot easier.

One other very notable joker is Mail In Rebate - if you manage to fix your deck to be mostly a single rank, you get $25 per full discard of that rank most rounds since it only picks a random rank from your deck, not a normal deck. It's even copyable with Blueprint and Brainstorm. So in an ideal setup, that can get you hundreds of dollars per round.

Also remember, you don't have to get the $400 before you win.

Another way you can try to get it that hasn't been mentioned is to play the anaglyph deck and use your double tags on the double your money ($40) or investment tag ($25). Just make a strong white stake build, make sure you're meeting interest, and wait until one of these two show up. Even if they don't immediately take you to $400 they'll get you to a fantastic position without any setup.

Getting $400 is pretty tricky. That was one of the joker unlocks that took me the longest. Pretty much every way I can think of to do it requires at least 2 specific jokers.

I think the way I finally got it was Midas Mask into a late Golden Ticket. I think I had Mime on that run too.

Besides those two...Swashbuckler + early Egg and Gift Card with Temperance will make you A LOT of cash, and score pretty well.

To the Moon and Interest boosting vouchers make a lot of money. All the better if you can get Bootstraps and Bull to go with them.

It seems like focusing on hands and discard with green deck could work with a High Card setup. Though I have not tried it.

Just keep doing white stake runs and keep an eye out for the parts of money related combos. Eventually you'll get what you need to make it work.

I almost got it with $398 on the Anaglyph Deck. Just save the double tags for money-related skips and play normally otherwise. This requires less luck than waiting for a couple of Jokers.

You can also start on yellow deck, since it starts you with 14 dollars instead of 4.

If you really want to go to it, I guess anaglyph and hoping for a money tag is good.
Otherwise, at some point you'll luck into a good money build. I think I did mine with a cloud 9 and DNA.

The double your money up to $40 in a late ante if you use none of your skips is instant success regardless of what else you have. Or the # of hands played tag I have seen give me over $60 in a single skip.

Anaglyph deck and econ skip tags can help quite a bit too.
