Syncing IOS version to the Steam.

I have the game installed on both my Mac and my iPhone. However, it's incredibly frustrating that the progress doesn't sync between the two versions. I've been playing more on my phone than on my PC, and now the save has progressed to a point where I don't feel like opening the Steam version of the game. :(
