Do custom card skins that I mod into the game disable achievements?

I want to download custom card skins online to add into the game but I still want to gain steam achievements. If I download a mod from like nexus mods will it disable my ability to get achievements?

Having steammodded installed will disable achievements and most mods will require that (All mods may require it, but I'm not sure if there's outliers). If you remove steammodded from your files then you can earn achievements as normal and certain achievements can be earned even though you made progress with mods (ex. Completionest++).

Steamodded also has (or at least had?) a mod that re-enables achievements as an example mod. The disabling is more to stop you accidentally getting things super easily because you tried some mod that happens to trivialize something.
