Runs Not Syncing Between PC (Steam) and Steam Deck?
I primarily play Balatro on my Steam Deck, but sometimes I want to play on my desktop machine. The Cloud Saves say they are up to date on both the Steam Deck and my PC, the actual run is not synced between devices.

I "think" the progression unlocks are correct (hard to know 100%). but the active run doesn't sync, or if I have no run going on the Deck, I may still have an old unfinished run going on the Desktop.

Sync just doesn't to be working properly. Anyone else?

that's strange, it should definitely work and does for me
perhaps your save is on your local drive and not the cloud.
It says it's uploading and syncing Cloud saves on both machines. Are you guys able to start a run on one device and pick it up on another?
I'm getting the same issue between a laptop and desktop. The laptop isn't matching, and is only played when out and about.

If I start a run on my Deck, then stop halfway and it syncs to the PC and then complete the run on the Deck; the savefile for the completed run is removed from the Deck, but the removal of that savefile doesn't get synced back to my PC. So I can continue the run once again on PC. Maybe that's what you're encountering? I've read elsewhere this is a know issue / limitation of the cloud save system for this game.

@kevlar I'm have that exact issue! Glad to know it's seemingly a known issue
I wish Steam Cloud would just have progress info attached to save files. Like developer configurable thing, then players could choose the save file with the most progress. Maybe also support a per device bucket. you could choose device to map to one. almost like a save slot in some games (also any device could be unregistered and remapped).
