Can I unlock joker-cards in a challenge-run?

I just won a challenge-run and definitely should have unlocked at least 2 joker-cards after finishing it (I won with 4 joker only and hold more than 400 $ in total at multiple points during the run). Is it only possible to unlock specific joker-cards in non-challenge-runs?

Challenges and seeded runs make it impossible to unlock anything.

The only exception, two achievements that are about beating challenges.

Yeah, there are ways that are better than others... but I won't spoil the fun of finding them yourself.

Just know that in endless mode (ante 9+), it still counts. Just in case you're at $368 after ante 8.
