Why should "DIsable <suit>" also kill *all* wildcarded cards?
It's bad enough to get unlucky and have the boss blind kill your favorite suit but why does it have to kill your cards that are wildcarded that were based off another base suit? Even if I try to build a hand off a different suit than was disabled?

Wild counts as all suits. So it's all of them at the same time. It can't just go back to being 1 suit when convenient
If it weren't considered all suits and thus susceptible to the boss debuff then why would it be considered all suits for every positive effect? It's a tradeoff.
The same reason Pareidolia kills you if you get one of the boss blinds that counter face cards.
Yea its the big reason why Wild is a weak enhancement IMO. It can be strong with Flower Pot or Blackboard but can also be crippled by all 4 of the suit bosses which occur pretty commonly. I admit I think Wild needs a bit of a buff, maybe allow 2 to be converted at once, but I'm not sure how I would fix it TBH.

That's what I mean its situational at best and crippling at the worst time in a game that already has too many unfun crippling mechanics, feels like the further you go the less you can rely on strategy and the more it just feels like dumb luck? I even build my deck not around a one trick pony as much as possible but every now and then just get totally screwed and that feels not good. You'd think letting wilds at least if they were based originally off of a suit that wasn't blocked they'd be ok would at least temper some of those really bum lucks.

Boss blinds never repeat in ante 1-8 so actually the further you go the MORE you can rely on strategy. If you started putting a ton of wild cards in a deck when you hadn't already faced several suit debuff bosses then you took a big risk. That's how every run goes. You need to be prepared for all the potential boss blinds at all times and try to pivot into things that the boss blinds you've already beaten would counter because that's then considered safe.
Wild cards are very weird. They are perfectly balanced - all or nothing, but at the same time they don't really have a niche. Wild is both an upside and a downside as far as enhancements go - it could have been a bonus, mult, lucky or steel card instead. At least they count for Driver's License.
