Achievements 10K, 1000K and 100000K needs to be fixed
Currently the achievements requires you to play a hand that scores 10,000 chips, 1,000,000 and 100,000,000 chips respectfully. However they still trigger if you go over the amount even though the description asks for the specific amount.

It literally says "In one hand score AT LEAST (x amount) chips in one hand."

Maybe you should read the description again because "at least" is nowhere to be found.
If you got a game with an achievement "reach level 20", would you also demand a fix if you, let's say, get that much XP to jump from 19 to 21 and still got the level 20 achievement?
Or "collect 1000 coins", but coins can come in packs of 1-5.
If they wanted you to play the exact score, they would've described the achievement as "score exactly 10,000,000 points in one hand".

Are you really that nitpicky? There is not need for "fixing" anything.

i personally am not this nitpicky. After seeing some other discussions and how people are so quick to jump to the conclusion that "its worded this way, so it must be done this way", so thats that main reason for this discussion.

Sadly this discussion is not about the joker cards. Maybe you should read more and see that it is in reference to the achievements.
If your boss asked you to meet a quota of 10 sales would they be upset if you went over that? There are nuances in the English language and things are implied but not said exactly how they are worded all the time. I know you're only making this because you're upset about the 'flushed' achievement but there's no need to be petty about it.

The whole point of how these achievements are written is to be clear to 99% of players, and I'd say that they succeeded. Just because you're the 1% who struggles to understand them doesn't mean there's a problem.

My point still stands in this situation since the whole reason I'm wrong about the "Flushed" achievement is because the way its worded.

Flush five/flush house/straight flush are not the same as flush. That's like expecting a to-do list that's on flushes to trigger on a flush five.

Again, everything comes down to wording. The to-do list uses the words "poker hand" in its description specifying the specific hand. The achievement just says "Flush" which is a generic enough word to include all flush types since all of them are indeed still flushes

Variant of flush, yes. An actual flush, no.
Are you really starting a pedantic rhetoric crusade all because you misinterpreted the wording of the flush achievement?
i dont think you realise how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard it would be to get 100000k exactly in 1 hand.
strangely enough.. the OP does have a valid point. the achievement does say that, and this is a game where everything is a literal thing. jokers do things based off their wording, like the flower pot proccing because you had a single wild card played, or the blackboard saying "all clubs or spades" yet again, wild card on a heart in hand triggers it. (there are many many instances where the description is to be read quite exact, those two were first in my mind)

but i also understand everyone else too - "exactly 10k, 1m, 100m..." is insane. especially since you don't have an in-game calculator.. and even with it, how on earth could you actually do that?
so i feel both ways are quite correct, cuz on one hand insane to get for a 10k achievement is dumb, on the otherhand this is a game where "literal" is an actual thing.

maybe put it in suggestions and word it nicely? along with posting those two points and it might get done.. it might not. i feel it'd be a smart (minor) change to do.

The thing is some wordings are intended to be exact and others are assumed to be thresholds rather than exact targets. It is understood intuitively in any game that a score goal is a greater than or equal to proposition, never an exact requirement. Exceptions like in blackjack have explicit rules wherein you lose if you exceed the target. If there is no mention of exceeding the target it's clearly meant only as a goal to beat and not a specific, precise number requirement. No one ever assumed they needed to hit the blind score exactly to win. No one would logically assume the achievements for scores are that way either.

Whereas with things like types the game has multiple instances where it very clearly makes a distinction between "contains" and "is." So if the achievement says "play a flush" and not "play a hand that contains a flush" it is consistent with the in game rules.
