You've reached the point where you're good enough to get to gold stake but not yet good enough to reliably beat it. So it kinda feels like restarting and trying to beat white stake again for the first time. But it's just another hurdle. Keep at it, maybe watch some streamers do high score runs to pick up some tips and soon you'll be a card god.
