Bug Report: Mr. Bones did not save me despite having over 25% of required chips
I got to the Big Blind on Ante 13 with the Checkered Deck on Blue Stake. At the end of the round Mr. Bones was consumed followed by an immediate GAME OVER screen. I had 1.184e11 out of the required 1.410e11, shown in the following link, which is greater than 25% of the required chips. I had 0 cards left in my hand and deck when Mr. Bones and the subsequent GAME OVER screen activated. My deck was primarily Lucky Kings of Hearts, my jokers were Triboulet, Sock and Buskin, Golden Joker [Eternal], Mr. Bones, Juggler [Negative], and Brainstorm [Polychrome].

I agree that the game over seems to have been caused by multiple loss conditions triggering in succession, with Mr. Bones only preventing one, but it still seems like a bug since every other time I have had Mr. Bones activate it ends the round as a "win".

You had 1 hand remaining. Had you been able to play that last hand, Bones would have saved you.

Mr Bones did not save you because it never got a chance to activate, it was not a factor.

As you said. You drew your whole deck, played all your cards, you had 1 hand left, the game tried to draw new cards for you, it couldn't and you lost because that's a loss condition.

But Mr. Bones DID activate and self-destruct, so it saved me from one loss condition before a second loss condition triggered afterwards to cause the final game over screen?
But isn't Mr. Bones supposed to end the round as a "win" after activating? So it should have saved me.

I'll be honest, I thought Mr Bones only could 'try" to save you once you ran out of hands.

The way you describe it, it's like Mr Bones tried to save you because you were going to lose to an empty deck. Like, the game wanted to draw cards, it couldn't, you die, Bones bail you out and self destructs in the process. But you still haven't drawn any card, so when it tries to make you draw again, you're screwed.

Best explanation I can think of. As I said, I did not know Bones would even activate in that scenario. Still not a bug though.

Or should I say, the loss condition is having an empty deck and an empty hand. Not being able to draw cards is not a loss.
