Do you ever lose early because you are building for endless?
It started to happen to me a lot, where I start assembling the pieces to push endless but I end up neglecting the early game and lose by ante 4 or 5, I noticed this started happening more frequently lately. I know it's my fault and I find it funny but I want to know if anyone else does the same :gros_michel: :canio:

I just lose due to constantly having bad RNG...>.>

I'd say probably half of my runs die to this. "This'll go crazy once I get this hand leveled up" "Just give me a Mime and some Chariots, we're hitting E with this combo"

I've also lost more than I like to admit to being dumb with DNA and playing High Card on the Mouth. One hand type only and I blow it on High Card. Like, a lot.

Post a seed, with the deck and stake that you lost to because of bad RNG and people will beat it, link a screenshot and prove you're just bad. That simple.

I was very bad for my first 150 hours. Am I also not nice to myself by saying that? If I blamed RNG, it'd still be very bad. I'm probably at least only half bad now. With the same RNG.

eh i think people take games way too seriously now with the self improvement crap. games are meant to be fun, not a college course. when i lose from rng (or atleast what i perceive to be rng) i just say eh and start a new run. sometimes leaving it to luck can be a bit more fun for me personally

Yeah I'm sick of the "post your seed" answer as well...I'm not playing the same exact seed every single time. I rarely mess with the seeds stuff to begin with, so yes...IT'S RANDOM...EACH...TIME.

Also yeah, I'm also annoyed at people then telling me that I don't know how to play the game at all.
...
What? Like, yes I do, I understand perfectly...but...still...IT'S RANDOM. lol
You have to rely on the shop giving you what you want, or try to work with what it gives you, and I had way too many runs where the game refuses to give me anything useful. lol

Even when I do get a good start to a run, one of the boss blinds ruins me, or even worse, a normal blind because I keep drawing bad cards, even after wasting all my discards and hands.

the point of these seeds is you are likely missing something about the game and people would like to help and that is the easiest way.

If you are just here to complain continue ignoring it. Otherwise maybe engage and improve?
malogoss Apr 22, 2024 @ 9:38pm
Then keep complaining about RNG and don't improve.

Your choice.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Experienced and good players simply never lose at white stake. You don't have to take my words for it. But that's how it is, others can confirm that. They get the same seeds as you (so same RNG), but they can find a way to win.

That's the whole point of posting a seed you found impossible to beat. Someone will beat it first try and you'll then know that the RNG wasn't the deciding factor and that you could have taken better decisions.

Just to be clear I'm talking about white stake, with any deck, on any seed. If you don't believe me then it's quite easy to prove your point by posting a seed. You probably won't, because saying "ITS' RANDOM lol" keeps you in a comfortable place where improvement is impossible anyway.

Strong players can win streak even at gold stake, but the win rate is not 100%.

The difference between you and me is that I don't think the RNG ruins any of my runs. I'm perfectly capable of ruining them myself. I've seen what actually skilled players can do.

And to be honest, I don't think RNG is really ruining your runs either.

It would be very refreshing to see an example of a seed that could prove difficult for skilled players even on lower stakes. So far no one has been able to come up with one. Have you?

I pretty much never play for endless. It's all about the wins baby!

You can ask someone to livestream then give them your specific seed to see that they did it on the first attempt. Though I think the only thing that will change is the excuse bad players use.
