Full release date hasn't been announced yet, but it's available if you subscribe to the beta branch within Steam. Definitely recommend doing so, the update is good.

Yeah, the prerelease effectively has nothing in it denoting that it's not just a normal release version. As far as the game cares, you're just playing the next update. Nothing gets disabled.

Yea the changes in the update make the original unplayable. Which sucks because I would like to play it on my switch, but there are so many issues gameplaywise in the og version.
