It's just the luck of the draw unfortunately and this game takes it to the extreme. I've also had those banana jokers last over 20 rounds (not the 1 in 3000 one) as well as failed the 1 in 4 chance to enhance my jokers with the tarot cards over 20 times in a row. Both scenarios supposedly only have a 0.1% chance of happening, yet in 20 hours, I've seen both happen multiple times
Note that each ante has its own Joker queue, so it may take a few tries (if you're unlucky enough to hit the tag in a specific ante that the Stone Joker is so deep you can't dig it out).
In reality I'm not sure what the odds of pulling uncommon jokers is, but I'm pretty sure it's less than the common ones. Plus you have planet and tarot cards to contend with in the shop too. It's not that weird if you math it out.
Best you can do to increase odds is not take any lucky or glass cards, not break Gros Michel, not take any of the tags that make tarot and planet cards spawn more, and take every buffoon pack. Maybe also go for uncommon tags, those would have a 1/60-ish chance of spawning Stone Joker with those manipulations. Varies up or down a tiny bit depending on how many uncommons you have. Perhaps Anaglyph deck to get a ton of Uncommon Tags would be ideal, like Ronald said. Although it's likely more fun to just play the game until it pops up naturally, rather than optimizing everything just towards the spawn chance of one joker.
EDIT: I'm, not sure if there is a specific # as to how many stone cards you need before the Stone Joker will possibly appear... or if having more stone cards increases the chances of it appearing.
I had 90+ hours and no Stone Joker... I picked up the Marble Joker and got the Stone Joker on the first run!!
It's already known that Steel Joker, Stone Joker, Golden Ticket, Lucky Card and Glass Joker ONLY shows up when you have Steel / Stone / Gold / Glass Card in your deck. I do agree that Stone Joker is somewhat rare, but granted, it's not impossible to get.
The issue lies in the Joker queue system. Each Ante, you're presented with a list of Joker that will show up in a specific order when rerolled, opening Buffoon Pack, or spawned from Judgement. If you already have some Joker bought, the duplicated ones will be skipped and the next one in queue will show up, so by having 5/6 Jokers filled, you have the odd increased a bit. HOWEVER, there's always a chance that the game will queue Stone Joker so deep into the queue that you cannot reroll into it by the time you finish Big Blind, so this is pretty much a guess game - do you take the next free shop, do you take the next D6 tag to reroll, or save up for the next Ante, etc...
