Random vs Eternal

It feels like Madness just selects from non-Eternal jokers which is not how the card is worded. I have 4 eternals (one negative) and a madness and no matter what gets added to the 6th slot it automatically gets chosen by the Madness every blind. Shouldn't it randomly select a joker to be destroyed and THEN decide whether that can happen or not? Feels bad man.

by that logic, wheel of fortune should be able to select jokers that already have an edition. don't think madness needs a buff, its already very strong as is when you get it early,

Not sure I was asking for a change of the card so much as a change of wording so as to make it clearer. It is annoying to think it might choose among all of them only to find it only selects between the non-eternal ones.

madness specifically states it destroys a random joker, eternal jokers specifically state they cannot be destroyed. Madness has to fulfil its condition on blind select if possible. I think its transparent enough.

Of course it only selects from the non-eternal jokers. They're the only valid targets.

Yeah I kind of feel like both are intended.
I get where OP is coming from.
