I mean, he just made a bunch of changes that made the game like twice as easy as it was before?
I wouldn't say it is easier now. It is "technically" as difficult. More decision making and making economy slightly more unstable. Slightly better scoring makes it more plausible to get a run out of it instead of a press "R" sim which makes it become a GAME.
Compared to old gold, where you can just focus on huge econ and not worry about other things.
New gold has more to focus on and can potentially pwn you upfront in ante 1 even with the buff in tags. Imagine getting majority eternals + rental or perishables + rental jokers. Which is pretty frequent. Having to pass up, say, blueprint + baron because both are eternal rentals, that is a hugeeee heart ache.
Yeah. The current one stripping enhancements from cards makes it impossible to make best-use out of several tarot cards, which is why I already avoid it.
I'd have put a maximum mult value on Vampire (at which point it stops stripping enhancements) than to reduce its mult gain.
lmao people have been complaining for a while that the game's later antes were not fun, now there are changes and it's "removing fun"
get over yourself
