seems kind of cut and dry
the game automatically puts the higher rank cards on the left.
so if there's a King and a Queen in that order, that means I select the two cards, but then i have to rearrange them and then apply the planet card.
I think im automatically assuming the game will understand that I want to keep the higher rank card.
did i explain that ok?
no offense taken
there are *a lot* of scenarios where you actually want to keep the smaller card because of the card being enhanced or your Jokers having synergy with specific ranks (like Wee Joker that wants you to fill your deck with 2s). Reading this makes me wonder if they made Death to work this way to make people stop and think for a second instead of just automatically being like "higher rank = better"
The intention is for you to rearrange them to get the desired result. The card even has text in the description telling you to "drag to rearrange" to make sure you are aware that you can rearrange the cards to get the desired result.
By all that's holy, no. I've burned out the part of my brain that remembers the things my wife thinks are important just to hold onto LEFT TRANSFORMS INTO RIGHT. Don't make me remember it any other way.
It is confusing. I don't know why. I know I am one of those people who confuse left and right all the time, which is funny, because I hold office as an American Senator*. Using the Death Card and seeing what it does (i.e. it doesn't kill people, quel dommage ) has cemented it in my memory. A little pop-up animation would help, but that's something the millennials need.
*No. Ugh. I only said that 'cos it would be funny.
I made the mistake of thinking that, once.
