Confusing: Convert Left into Right
for some reason it's kind of confusing to use the word 'convert' here since it says "left into right" so it makes you think the left card is the priority, and it will copy itself into the position of the right card.
i think it would be more clear if it said "copy" instead of "convert"
what's more clear?
Convert the Left into the right card. (That makes right card the important card)
Copy the Left card to the right card. (This makes left card the important card)

the game has trained us to place high rank cards to the left, and low rank cards to the right. so when i drag the two cards together, im unconsciously putting the crap card to the right, and high rank card on the left. then i forget to rearrange them to put the crap card on the left side. you know what i mean, it goes against the intuititive nature to place the good card on the left.

Copy implies you're getting something new. Convert makes much more sense since that's what you're doing.

Leave it the way it is, because now I'm more confused than ever.

Death card wasn't confusing until I read OP.

Converts the LEFT card into the RIGHT card

seems kind of cut and dry

I'd like to preface this by stating that I mean no offense of any kind when I write this. "Convert the left card into the right card" is a perfectly understandable phrase. If you have problems understanding it, it's not a phrasing issue, it's an English comprehension issue. As such, the only advice I can give is to deepen your understanding of the language. Reading tougher literature is one way to do this.

i think it's an issue of arrangement.
the game automatically puts the higher rank cards on the left.
so if there's a King and a Queen in that order, that means I select the two cards, but then i have to rearrange them and then apply the planet card.
I think im automatically assuming the game will understand that I want to keep the higher rank card.
did i explain that ok?
no offense taken

there are *a lot* of scenarios where you actually want to keep the smaller card because of the card being enhanced or your Jokers having synergy with specific ranks (like Wee Joker that wants you to fill your deck with 2s). Reading this makes me wonder if they made Death to work this way to make people stop and think for a second instead of just automatically being like "higher rank = better"

The intention is for you to rearrange them to get the desired result. The card even has text in the description telling you to "drag to rearrange" to make sure you are aware that you can rearrange the cards to get the desired result.

Gud card goes on the Right. I'm just typing this so I remember.

game should give us option to choose
The bad card is left behind in more ways than one.

By all that's holy, no. I've burned out the part of my brain that remembers the things my wife thinks are important just to hold onto LEFT TRANSFORMS INTO RIGHT. Don't make me remember it any other way.

It is confusing. I don't know why. I know I am one of those people who confuse left and right all the time, which is funny, because I hold office as an American Senator*. Using the Death Card and seeing what it does (i.e. it doesn't kill people, quel dommage ) has cemented it in my memory. A little pop-up animation would help, but that's something the millennials need.

*No. Ugh. I only said that 'cos it would be funny.

You make the mistake once and then never again.

I made the mistake of thinking that, once.
