Challenges and unlock/achievements

I've cleared half the challenges at this point.

I noticed that playing the challenges unlocks nothing and doesn't add items to your collection when you buy them during a challenge run.

I'm not suggesting that has to change. But it would be nice to get some sort of warning about how things work before selecting challenges.

If such a warning already exists, then I missed it.

I also wish that warning was in there. I got my 12th planet card for the first time in a challenge run and didnt know why it didnt unlock. I dont think it says anything about that, like the seeded run does.
