Legendary Jokers

Are legendary jokers random drops, or do you need to do something to unlock them? I see that about 50% of players have the achievement for discovering one, but I have 50 hours in the game and have yet to see one.

Rarely when you open up a tarot pack, you'll see a spectral card called "The Soul", which creates a legendary joker.

Not that I know of. I've only ever seen The Soul inside tarot packs, never in spectral packs or anywhere else. I think it's similar to the Black Hole spectral card that only appears in planet packs.

They do not. They are always only attainable via Soul cards.

Looking at the code, I'm pretty sure soul cards can show up for both spectral and tarot packs. It's just a 0.3% chance per card, and spectrals show up less and have less cards so you're way less likely to see it happen there. You also need to not have used a soul card that run.
Also looks like Showman may prevent both soul and black hole cards from showing up. The more you know I guess.

It's possible to get multiple soul cards in the same run. I got two before the 8th ante. That was at around 18hrs without seeing any, but the odds for two in one run must be ridiculous

I also got two different legendaries in a run, it's possible. Only happened once, so far.

Ah wait, messed up my reading of the code: it check if you have not "used soul and not have showman" so having showman makes it possible to show up twice. Parentheses messed me up. If you guys didn't have showman, that'd be a bug. And really damn lucky regardless, lol.

That said, I've seen two planets in one run, those have the same code and probability, and I'm not sure I had showman myself.
