Maybe starting with the re-roll voucher could be enough to at least prevent the worst-case scenarios.
I even got my FIRST legendary joker, but it was one beginning with 'T' that was also useless for the face card challenge, not that I expect the logic to screen those out.

I know in monster train at least, you can see what some of the bosses are ahead of time, so you know that you're going to need to account for that
When a new Ante begins, you can see the boss blind two rounds ahead.
Basically means you get a maximum of two shop encounters to prepare for something build-breaking instead of three...
still though not the greatest feeling to come up against a hard counter that you were forced into in the first place.
