very difficult
without looking at the guides so far I can only win consistently by building a flush deck.
Any other viable builds?

There's a joker that can only be unlocked by not playing a flush.. I am so confused cuz I can only win with flush decks lol. Imma try out a full house deck now, thanks.

instead of forcing a flush deck etc., you should consider building your deck around the jokers you get. early multipliers are important. and look at jokers that compliment each other. for example fibonacci joker with hack.

steel cards are also important late game. generally it's more about the hand that you level that gives you the most points and not the best hand in traditional poker per se.

i won with just two pairs. you need the right joker with multiplier + chips + x multiplier to win easily. not hard

I’ve won with balanced decks, flush, 3ofaK, etc. Variety of ways to win.

Two pairs feels easiest to me as a newbie. It's an easy target and it's easily boosted with common Jokers. I've had successful runs favoring pairs, two pairs, threes and flushes. I never aim for a specific build to begin with. Flush becomes an easy target with the Smeared Joker. But it's uncommon.

I felt the same way, but as you progress and unlock more jokers, it opens up a lot more builds.

The most original win I had for now is playing with the credits as a multiplier.
There is a blade that kills the joker up to its right and gain double its price as a multiplier. There is a joker that gain in selling price (the egg) at a condition that you can retrigger using other joker. Using this you can use your credits as a way to increase your egg and then give it to your blade to have a beautiful * 1000 mutliplier.

It all depends on what jokers you have and what's available to you. I just had a run where I basically ran two pair, high card, 4 of a kind, or full house.

I got the joker that turns cards you score with into gold cards, as well as the double helix. Every time I played one card my first hand I duplicated it. I ended up getting vampire a couple rounds later, and every enhanced card you play gives vampire .2X to your multiplier. I was at 8x with vampire by ante 8, and with a few other decent jokers was able to score upwards of 100k-500k with a high card or two pair, even more with 4 of a kind.

Obviously I got pretty lucky with my jokers, but by building a good econ you can increase your chances of finding what you need.

Keep playing and unlocking more jokers, be flexible in your game plan and try to have multiple combos to rack up points.

I ran flush for awhile until I started winning some runs and unlocking more stuff. The game starts to open up a lot more, but there's still plenty of runs where I lose by first ante. That's just the nature of card games sometimes.

I encourage you to experiment and try different things. After my recent runs, I believe just about any build can be viable. As long as you are getting planet cards for the 1-3 combos you're trying to run, and you have jokers that give chips, multipliers, and xmult, I think you can make just about any of them work to ante 8.
I usually let early jokers dictate what i'm building but so far i've won with flushes, straights, three of a kind and even a two pair build. Haelean (i think thats how its spelled) also has a video where he just levels high card continuously. Its all viable just depends on the ''build''. Keep playing and it'll click eventually I went from taking 8 hours for my first clear to winning like 1/5 runs. (white stake)

high card is currently the strongest build you can have. but you need lottery luck to get it. lol.

it's so unintuitive that it's the best build lol
gonna try it out

goooood luck. its Cavendish luck to get it. you need a deck full of "Red Seal" + "Steel Kings cards" + "Baron Joker" + "Steel Joker" + "Mime Joker"
Jonah Feb 27, 2024 @ 7:38am
I got my first win after more tries than I can count with a pair build of all things lol, Baron and mime jokers did the lifting and copious amounts of upgrading the pair via planet cards.

To be fair all the hands are likely viable to different degrees, flush is a good one because its a good scoring hand at level 1.

I've got to a high ante with a high card build once because the RNG utterly shafted me, it was pretty decent till I got to the Wall, then I was knackered.

usually pass ante 14 requires some very specific stuff already, regardless of what boss. it's "very difficult" indeed.
