However, later on, once you have lots of multipliers to multi itself, multi can get to obscene levels. For example, Steel cards and any Polychrome cards (especially if they have a Red Seal) and a bunch of the Jokers with multipliers can altogether cause Multi to vastly outpace Chips.
This actually makes Plasma Deck one of the most interesting since it has to transition from a chips-focused build (since trying to go for multi right away won't keep up with the higher blind values) to a mult-focused one once you have the means to do so. So you really want to get an early chip card that can carry you for a while where you can stockpile money and pick up components of a multi engine and transition over completely when your multi can end up going reliably above your chips.
