All my progress is gone

TLDR: I lost a bunch of progress is there a way to recover it?

I was playing Balatro just now 2-3 hours ago and then closed down the game and when I now restarted it all my progress was gone, well not exactly all of it but most of it.

I got into the tutorial again which surprised me but I just clicked skip.
Then when I clicked on my profile I saw that all successful runs was gone, all jokerstickers were gone and all the stats with how many times I bought what vouchers etc.

The only thing remaining was all the stuff I already had unlocked. I could see all the jokers I had discovered, tarot cards and vouchers and my unlocked decks etc.
However the progress towards unlocking things was gone, previously I had 1000$/1500$ towards a voucher or joker, now it was 0/1500.

The same thing with number of discarded cards and played hands etc you need to unlock stuff, all zero.

Is there a way to recover this?

Might be important to note that while I was playing it before all progress was lost I was recording the game and the hard drive went completely full and the recording got an error because of this. Could this have messed with the game save?

Same exact thing happened to me just now, kinda seems like there is no solution and no one really understands why it happens. Now it's the pursuit for gold stake on every deck from the ground up :(

I noticed there was an update - after opening the game post update, all progress is gone and I'm back at the tutorial.

Same thing has happened to me. I logged on today for the first time in a few weeks, and all my deck progress is gone. 237 hours vanished.

My collection is still the same, jokers, consumables, etc.. But I am back to white stake on every single deck. 237 hours vanished.

Yeah ... I play on two different machines, one of them BSOD'd on me, and when I restarted, progress had been wiped to zero. I made the mistake of then logging in on the other machine instead of restoring the backup from local. Alas. I highly doubt there's any recourse for any of us.

Might be worth keeping a backup of save files just in case.

Same thing happened to me for the second time actually. So after the first one I've backed up my saves, but when I port them in, it still goes to new file. So it doesn't actually matter, at least in my experience. It sucks, because since that I didn't open the game even though I love it. But it just demotivates me soooo much. Since I love to achievment hunt and stuff. Like all Golden decks lost.
