Try using AMD Adrenalin or enabling vsync to cap the FPS
I am trying to do this on my end and its not working. This is specifically why I am posting requesting the additional feature in game. Appreciate your input but take a second to read the body of the post next time before replying.
I have a global setting within AMD Adrenalin to cap fps on all applications to 165. It works on all other games. I went in to Balatro specifically and updated it to cap fps with no success. Vsync accomplish this if it worked in windowed mode, it does not.
FPS caps are a common setting in many games and for a game like this theres no reason to even have a high fps.
Also like Bionic said its common for games to have FPS build in because external FPS caps can't work reliable depending on the used engine or technologies
