Quick question, can you not unlock anything in challenge runs?

Nope, some challenges are geared toward some themes that trivialize the unlock conditions, so they are disabled. Example, the Rich gets Richer challenge can easily top you with $400 for achievement/unlock.

Can't unlock and it doesn't count towards your win total. I wish there were rewards for beating the challenges.
