do some achievments not work on a challenge run?

i just had a very good run on a challenge mode.
i discovered a legendary joker, i had over $400, i bought 5 vouchers before ante 4, discovered a lot of spectral and planet cards and none of them registered sadly...is that a bug or is that supposed to happen?

Think so yeah. Had both a 5 golden cards hand and a golden card with a gold seal in the -1 discard per $5 one earlier, but neither unlock triggered. The $400 one makes sense, since there's some challenges that just completely stuff you with cash.

Are you talking Steam achievements or in-game? I've had the Steam ones pop up only after exiting/starting the game.

Pretty sure I unlocked the 'have 30 spades/etc in your deck' in game achievement on the challenge where you only have two suits in your deck.

This isn't a challenge, it's a deck, my bad.
