What's everyone's least favorite Boss Blind?
Mine would have to be The Arm. Permanent negative levels hand levels for the rest of the run is hard to bounce back from.

Funny enough on initial launch arm was even worse and could set a hand to LEVEL ZERO which was ridiculous.

Personally I think least favorite on anything but gold stake would be The Water just because of how much of a run killer it can be early.

But on gold stake? Manacle is a secret run assassin if you get him at higher antes. Having a base hand size of 6 and a whopping 2 discards makes getting a consistent 5 card hand absolutely miserable without good luck - much less one that passes on higher ante scaling from stake.

Every now and then the suit bosses will just snipe a run, but special credit goes to a paradolia run getting nuked by the Face Cards Face Down one.

The Hook is the worst on 1st ante because I rarely get any jokers before first boss and discards usually run out before I can get 2 hands needed to win. Also The Water and The Toothe are very annoying, first can kill a run if you're unlucky and second one can do it if you don't yet have jokers you can play with.

I'd have to agree with arm. The nature of its design is so far out there compared to every other boss - Ox and Tooth might screw you over in the short term but you recover from them in a couple blinds or so, and no other blind has lasting effects on you past the actual blind itself. But losing hand levels will permanently set you back, potentially to a ridiculous degree if you can't do it in 1 hand.
IMO it should be changed to something along the lines of "hands played are treated as though their levels were 2 lower" or something like that, lowering the chip/mult value of the hand in the boss itself but without the lingering effect.

the one with a permanent debuff

I definitely agree with the Arm. It breaks your entire build and ruins the run if you get it far enough into a run. It almost seems like an oversight that it doesn't reset the debuffs after you beat it. By default, you try and play the hands that give you the best outcome and each time you do it gets debuffed. Once is bad enough, but it's possible, or even likely, that you can reset hands all the way down to level 1. I guess I'll have to learn to only play hands that I didn't level up...

At first it was The Arm for me, but now that I'm trying higher stakes it's definitely The Manacle.
the needle, the serpent, the fish.

Honestly just really big blinds, especially early on when I have jack all to multiply with.

to me the ones where u cant see your cards are the worse...
the arm is sometimes bad but you can somewhat play around it but not seeing your cards its really hard to play around that, even tho its sometimes possible to a certain degree

The Flint on the second ante sucks, specially on high stakes

The Wall, basically all the time. My last run got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by The Wall showing up on the 100k blind, making it as difficult as the first endless blind (I remember it was 300k but the in-game collection indicates it should have been 440k), but even having it show up on the first blind can be a game-ender.

I also got screwed by Manacle once (I'd picked up Spectral Negative Joker, so my hand size was 6, which just suuuucked). It was the boss after I bought it, so I didn't know it was coming, and at that point there was no way I could re-roll.

The Fish almost screwed me once, but I got a lucky Flush (which my jokers were built for) and just barely squeaked that one out (I only had one visible card left). Definitely very frustrating to play against.

The Water has screwed me on multiple occasions, but isn't that bad.

Not like The Mouth or The Needle, both which I fekkin hate.

The Hook ruined me once, when I had the "queens in held cards +13 Mult" and I only had 7 cards to work with and couldn't make pairs worth anything (i.e. wouldn't have scored enough). I think I won, but it was definitely very frustrating.

You think that's bad, I once had 4 hand size. Next boss was The Psychic. Thankfully I had the boss reroll voucher, but that the moment I saw that boss appear the initial "oh shi-" was certainly funny.
