Resolution Full Screen issue/bug

I've noticed that even though my screen is 1920x1080, going fullscreen it forces me to run it through 1600x900 - hence making it look not as sharp. It might be related to the 125% setting Windows has when a screen runs 1080p but is physically a bit too small to read clearly. Could this be looked into?

Confirming by the way that once I changed the scale in my Display settings for "Text, apps and other" back to 100% from 125%, it did not do this and it let me play at 1080p. This is the only game for which I have to do this though, so despite a good workaround something that should be looked at.
