Clarifications on some jokers
Supernova: Adds the number of times poker hand has been played to Mult

Can anyone clarify this? Does this mean for each hand I play in a round, it gets +1, then +2, then +3, etc?

'Totem' (don't know the name of this one): Gives X mult for a specific rank/suit card played but changes each round.

This is an uncommon joker, but would get proc'd so rarely it honestly seems terrible. is there something i'm not understanding or missing with this one?

Ride the bus: +1 mult per consecutive hand played without a scoring face card.

Does this stack permanently or does it get reset when you play a scoring face card?

supernova adds the total number of times that hand has been played to the mult - you can see this tally in the run info

you can use cards like smeared joker with totem, wild cards, tarots to hand and deck manip suits.

ride the bus resets when you play a face card, so you cut them and use death cards to turn them into numbers or play checkered deck, etc. turn them steel, put discard seals on them, you can make it work.

Supernova: In the run info, you can check how many times a specific hand has been played, the number is the +mult. e.g you have played a total of 30 pairs, Supernova will have +30 mult.

Totem: Mouse over the card to read the proc effect, every round it can change to a different suit.

Ride the bus: there is a deck with no face cards. But "deleting card" stragt usually works better because of the card "+1x Mult per Face card deleted", delete does not include strength and death tarots.

thank you! this is great info. supernova is actually a pretty awesome joker then, especially for decks that specialize on one hand type.

regarding the tiki joker, i also hadn't considered wild cards / manipulation effects to let it proc more often. still not sure i love this one but i'll see if i can make use of it somehow.

thank you for the info. i'd like to try a run that specializes around numbered cards, using jokers like hack / ride the bus

There's definitely some missing wording on a lot of descriptions. Some cards reset, some don't, but they're worded pretty much identically. Some boss blinds are similar. Like -1 hand level is permanent, but -1 hand isn't.

You can play a face card as long as it doesn't score, and it won't reset Ride the Bus (e.g. four Aces and a King), unless you have Splash, wich makes all played cards score.

smeared is what really sets it off, because half of your deck is guaranteed to proc that. same with ancient joker.

i've used this one, apparently i won a run with it but i don't remember doing so. on your FIRST turn, you have to play a SINGLE card that is a 6, it gets destroyed and then you get a spectral card in your consumable area.

it's one of the only ways to get spectral cards in your consumable area, which lets you use it during a round. otherwise they normally only get used when you buy spectral packs.

it could probably be used for some interesting stuff but is difficult to make use of.

It's the best way to use cards like the one that nukes five cards - just tailor your hand properly - and it lets you dig around for the right cards to slap seals on. Cartomancer and Sixth sense together make for a really powerful deck focused entirely on your hand instead of Jokers.
