Is the glass card break-chance legit?

Every time I get further into a run and I begin to use glass-cards they always break first time they are being used. They are supposed to only break 25% of the times right? But like the last five times I have used them in a good deck they break first time. I wonder if it's because when you get a good deck it's the game's way of slowing you down. But in the first four antes you can use them without fear. Anyone else notice this or have I just been very unlucky?

Do you have a card that multiplies probability? I had the same issue and discovered I was using a Joker to increase probabilities and didn't notice it also increased the likeliness or glass cards breaking as well.

I had a similar (opposite) experience with the "1 in 3 chance for hearts to add 2x multiplier when scored" joker.
Got it by the end of the 2nd ante and every single hand I played after that point was a heart flush.
I saw about 5 procs total by the time I lost the run (10th ante I think)
Sometimes ♥♥♥♥ just happens, man.

xcom is missing on a 99 6 times in a row, losing a coin toss 5 times is pretty easy compared to xcom probabilities
