Why exactly is "Campfire" rare tier... am I missing something?
It just seems dumb conceptually

Purple/blue tokens and jokers that give you consumables give it a lot of power. Riff Raff is incredibly strong in the first few antes, giving you jokers to use and sell back immediately after, and it synergizes with Campfire.

Imo it's very situational, a B or C tier card. Under the right circumstances it can absolutely carry you, but you probably won't see those circumstances very often.

campfire + riff raff, use money to buy planet packs and reroll/buy more cheap jokers just to sell. can beat the game with it

You're basically adding +0.5 mult per card sold, so it's incredibly strong if you can:
-Buy and sell tons of Planets/Tarot per shop (Having high interest + voucher to make them appear frequently)
-Generate tons of Tarot/Planet for free (Vagabond / Superposition / Catomancer)
-Use Stencil Joker (Always require 1 empty Joker slot) or the one that eats your Joker for Mult each blind -> Buy and sell junks Joker

It should be uncommon then, not exactly rare. It's very powerful but given the circumstances it doesn't deserve the rarity.

Rare Jokers are very situational but they're all exceptionally strong if you get the right build for it. For example, Blueprint and Brainstorm are completely useless on their own, but they're still powerful because they lets you duplicate / triplicate other strong Jokers easily.

it is what it is. think of any trading card game - wizards doesn't make every rare or mythic powerful for constructed, some commons and uncommons are also designed to be extremely powerful or playable but usually not in and of themselves win conditions. i think it's appropriate for some of the uncommon/rare cards to have more narrow applications.

Yes but there is no way this deserves the same tier as baseball hat for one

It does, because this Joker scale VERY FAST, at +0.5x Mult (Same with the one that eats one of your Joker). Vampire only gains +0.2x Mult and requires tons of buffed cards to work, and Baseball Bat, again, on its own does nothing.

no, i had it mixed up a little bit with a different card. so it's much better than i was thinking when i replied. if your money gets high enough to burn rerolls i suppose it could be among the best multipliers in the game.
