Dusk and glass cards

In the beta, this was the meta to be completely broken. Sadly, i believe it is still the absolute easiest way to get huge hands. The retriggers on glass cards is insane, im not sure that will ever change even with new cards, seens too strong even if the "meta" were to evolve.

I'm not sure on it, but does multi-trigger reroll the breaking? If it doesn't, it really should - throwing a red seal and glass on a card should almost gaurentee it to absolutely nuke the score but almost always shatter every time, that feels balanced.

if it doesn't then yes it should. retriggers on other enhanced cards reroll their effects. you can get 20 mult twice on a lucky card retrigger.

It was more broken in the demo because you only needed to get through ante 6. With an extra 6 rounds plus trying to get to ante 12 for an unlock, glass cards have become way less reliable of a way to win.

Go to youtube and look up high scores some of the guys are posting, if its not a handful of polychome cards ( much much harder) then its most likely glass cards for the win.

To be fair, there's other ways to scale with glass-esque strategies beyond Dusk. Seltzer, Hack, and Sock & Buskin all also retrigger cards played, and there are other Jokers that add X Mult effects to cards. To name a few, Bloodstone, Idol, Ancient Joker, and that one Legendary that gives kings and queens X2 Mult. In an ideal build with Buskin, Seltzer, the Legendary, Ancient Joker on Hearts, and Idol on King of Hearts (Which is guaranteed if it's all you have in your deck), playing 5 glass red seal King of Hearts will be far more effective than a measly Dusk.

Besides, the strongest "meta" currently seems to be Baron + Mime abuse.
