How/when can you use tarot cards?

I got the Moon and Strength, but whenever i click on em, the use button is grayed out. Can't use em when playing, or in the shop. Is there something im missing?

Usually they require you to select a card in your hand before playing them, instead of clicking it first.

Select the cards you want to change, not more than the card affects (up to 3 on The Moon and 2 on Strength), and it will work.

There's a lot of cards with those description, make sure you read them really thorough in the future to avoid any confusion.

You can use a tarot card any time any of your deck is visible as a "hand" of cards. This means both during a blind and when opening tarot packs.
