How long until your first win?
Just managed to get my first win and it feels like I took WAY too long and am pretty bad, so I wondered how long it took all of you to get your first one.

10 hours for me. 10... hours. Yes, I feel bad. But I'm having a blast trying every little thing.

6 hours (not including the hours I poured into the demo without winning)

10h in and i have not won any game. I consider myself experienced in deckbuilders :clementineelf:

Around 4 hours in the actual game, and I also had like 4 hours before that on the demo. But I believe 10 hours is not bad, as long as you're enjoying the game !

I won my second run, and probably win about 80% of them at this point. Same for the 5 or 6 challenge runs I've completed.

I'm not trying to brag or anything, just sharing my experience. I'll be moving to higher "stakes" (difficulties) though and expect to struggle.

Just won the 2nd one right after the first, so maybe that's just the thing. As soon as you cracked the thing once... we'll see. But not bad, I'm impressed!

I totally feel you there! I'd say the same about me. Tough game, but so good. You'll get there any round now, I'm sure. :)

Took me maybe 8 hours to get my first win. I have since won 4 more times I think. (I've been trying to beat the game with each deck so I've not attempted re-runs with decks yet)

First couple runs were massive wins and both went to Ante 11, then I dove headfirst on a 7 losing streak...

Beginner's luck had me thinking I was good. :(
That being said, most runs were fun!

Won my second run. If you get a good Joker early it snowballs pretty quickly. If I get something like Half Joker, Four Fingers, or Shortcut in the first couple of blinds it is probably going to be a win.

4 hours
pretty quick in the demo and base difficulty is easy. seems like the basics are that you need chip generation, base multiplier, and x multiplier in your joker lineup. if you can get all three of those things going with some kind of synergy you have a good shot. flushes are easiest to build with 4 common suit build arounds in the shop, those probably need to be nerfed to plus 3 mult. early pants can scale two pair. straights are good but you need an enabler like shortcut or four fingers. fibonacci is a powerful build around that enables many hands, but you really want that joker that scores unscored cards in the play for it then upgrade two pair, pair, three of a kind, full house, high card. biggest points come from popping off with glass cards and red seals with steel cards in hand. most of my wins have come from flush, straight, or fibonacci builds. prioritize flat mult and chips early then add x multipliers and synergy to that base.

Try to go for Flush build. I have won with it 2nd run and it seems quite consistent

4 hours for me. Don't compare yourself to others. The point of games is to have fun, and I'm sure it was satisfying to finally win.

12 hours & NO WIN
I've had insane multiplier combos & good builds, the RNG of cards & Boss effects are really taking a toll on my success, Highest Ante is 6, even when I can pull & use my cards for my build, it seems like it's not giving me enough payout in some circumstances, mostly I know it comes down to what Joker cards I get that determines my success, I had tried to use planets with my builds, but they have very little impact

I usually don't like to edit posts, but after 19 hours, I finally got my first win

Acrobat: X3 Multiplier on final fand
Dusk: Retrigger all played cards on final hand
Blue Joker: +2 chips for every remaining card in the deck
Supernova Negative: Adds number of times played hand to multiplier
Smeared Joker: Same color suits are treated as same suit
Brainstorm: Copy the left most Joker

Dusk was actually one of my last Jokers, ended up swapping out one Joker for it, to further assist Acrobat in the final hand to boost, but I could have lost to the previous Boss Blind, as it was one that was disabling my Jokers, but fortunately in the end, didn't disable the 2 that is doing the most which obviously is Acrobat & Brainstorm, so I could have been reset again, but I finally won :smiling:

Although, I don't feel satisfied with the win, I'd like to win in unique fashion, rather than win by what everyone considers the best way to win, with flushes, but the cards I got, helped immensely for flushes

6.8 hours for my first win. I used only pairs and two pairs and got some good luck with jokers early on.
