What Poker Hands are you aiming for?
So I'm trying to get better and I don't know which Poker Hands are better to go for, I usually go for Flush because I find it okay to do, but I'm still yet to win so I'm probably doing something "wrong"

Flush is good since it's pretty easy to shoot for, though certain bosses can shut it down hard. Still, you can definitely get a win by focusing on that. It's very solid.

I've had a lot of wins so far just with builds that focus on single pairs, there's a lot of jokers that can make those really strong.

Really though the jokers and other stuff are the key here. Dont try to force your way to building towards a specific hand type if you're just not getting jokers that work with it. Look at what you're getting in the shops and then see what you might want to do. After all, a flush-focused approach isnt going to do you much good if you just arent finding much in the way of jokers & synergies that help with that.

One way or another you're going to want jokers that give you a decent amount of mult, that's the cornerstone to everything, and jokers that then multiply the mult (like the ones that say "2X mult"). And so on. There's a ton of ways to build things.

And then once you've got something going, you'll know what hands to aim for. And anything you can find that might help you get the cards you need in hand for it just makes it even better. Planet cards are also important from there.

At least that's how I've been doing it.

honestly I just build around whatever the first interesting joker I find is. last run was built around two pairs and I could consistently win every round after 2 or 3 turns. my two pairs was only level 2 until ante 7 too.

I really liked the 3 card only half-joker build I won my first game with

but now I basically play flush only, it just seems strait is pointless considering the odds of getting 5 cards in order than 5 colors when there are only 4 colors and 13 card types

100% depends on what build I get, which depends on what jokers I find. Flush is amazing if you have the smeared joker. Otherwise I go for full houses usually.

Full house, straight, and flush are my favorites as I find them a good value (they get +2 levels when upgraded rather than +1 like pairs or high card) and still fairly easy to get hands of. I'll usually level up whichever is presented most. But yeah, like people said, Jokers can definitely influence what's best!

i usually build on two pair and full house. but i pretty much buy every planet card i see.

For the moment my best run was with Royal flush level 13, my best hand reach ~35M but can't beat the ante 12 with 300M blind >< also the boss was 200M in only 1 hand xD impossible
you don't have to build around a specific hand. if you have a fibonacci set up for example you can play multiple hands with it and you're more resilient against blinds that way. not every strong joker setup is hand synergy. i've won quite a few runs without building around a specific hand - i forget joker names but ones that do things like scale when you use a tarot, scale when you add a card, vampire, retrigger plus enhancements, face card builds, evens/odds builds, fibonacci builds, joker that scales with card sales, hiker, scholar, hold kings in hand etc.

Got 2 delete 5 spectrals early, then 2 copy and a delete 1 get 4 enhanced. Ended up with 15 Kings by the end and did my first 5 of a kind run. Twas fun. For some odd reason I also enjoy winning with High Card only.

I normally just go with the easy flushes for more of a brain off approach. That or triples/full houses.

The only one I tend to avoid is straights and special hands that don't get buffed since it seems very stars aligned type deals from both booster packs and jokers.

Aside from the obvious Flush, I'm a big fan of Two Pair builds. It's extremely easy to set one up every turn, often without using a discard, and it has many scoring cards. It can easily pivot/share a run with full house or three of a kind.

Really though, my build is whatever the first 1-2 specialized jokers I obtain support.

I find going full house is pretty easy, but outside that two pair in case you get the monster of all bad luck with your discards/deck. There are cards that get extra modifiers if they have two pair or three of a kind, so that syngergizes pretty well if you're going full house all the time

I've had hands that get me over 200-300k with all the modifiers and multipliers.

That's what i was gonna say. I focus on a hand based off the first couple of good jokers I get if i get them early enough.
