confusing per round description
its really misleading, many card have per round in the description, for example plus 3 hand size, minus 1 hand per round, and it just means plus 3 hand size and minus 1 hand over all, only happens once, but the wording makes it feels like its gonna trigger multiple times every time the round counter go up, its really redundant and confuse it with some effect that can trigger multiple times

Agreed. That’s how I found myself understanding them and thus not taking them…

Yeah I don't really get it. Isn't "per round" and "per ante" the same? And I think both terms are used?

Ante is 3 rounds. Each time you beat a boss you go up one ante.

I'm pretty sure there's a joker that does something when you "select an ante" or some phrase like that though, which confused me on what an ante is. It triggers when you choose to play a blind instead of skip it.

there is a item that says -1 ante, -1 hand per round. does that mean you will never leave the current floor lol

I just played it, it only does it once. I got it on ante 1, my hand went -1 and I stayed on ante 1. I went to ante 2 after I got through ante 1 again. Not super useful, but it makes you build your deck a bit more before going further.

yeah it seems per round is for the -1 hand part only. meaning one less turn each round. unnecessary way of phrasing it for sure though because it essentially just lowers your max hands (one time)

No, those say "select a blind". Blinds are the different types of rounds. You can't select an ante, the only influence you have over ante is the voucher Symphony mentioned.

It isn't quite unnecessary, because there are tags that increase hands by 3. The game's just being very explicit that those are one round, and this is every round.
The term max doesn't really work. There's a joker that carries over unused discards, so there is no max - you just get a number each round and it normally resets it to 0 before giving those to you. And these modifiers like +1 hands increase that number.

there are quite a few descriptions that are very ambiguous, and there are some other things that are either not described well or at all. hopefully this will improve with time.

ya that's fair, but I think it could be phrased as permanent loss or something. how is the permanent +1 hand worded? I forget. maybe call it starting hands +1

By the way, that Joker got removed. There still isn't a max because you can get infinite negative Drunkards with Showman
