what is gold sticker? does it mean I'm stuck in the game for 1000 hours straight if I want 100% it?

I think you need to win a game with the hardest difficulty and you unlock the sticker for the Jokers with which you won!

every time you win, you get a sticker on the deck you used representing the completed difficulty. gold stake is the highest difficulty level. you need to beat the game on gold stake difficulty with all decks. good luck.

oh yeah, all jokers too. you have to use every single joker in a winning run on gold stake difficulty. lol.

What does "use a joker" mean? Does it have to be among the ones you have when the run ends with a win, or does it count every joker you have had and then switched out?

you must have it when you complete ante 8.

So that means you need to do at least 25 winning runs on max difficulty all with different jokers, and most of them using different decks... Insane to have an achievement hinging on doing this. It will take 1000 hours (or 5 minutes using an achievement mod), especially when you factor in that you need to up the stakes to max individually with all deck types too...

yes, it's almost as bad as the grind in isaac. that's probably what inspired this.

exactly, it hurts me as completionist and makes me wonder why did i buy this game in the first place.....

I've made a huge mistake

even slay the spire with 4 classes and 20 ascensions is insane. I only ever got to ascension 20 with one class and it was a chore. I can't imagine what this will be like with 15 decks
Oh nooo guys... You want have 100% achievements in the game. What a tragedy...

So you play games for achievements not for fun. I mean do what you want but it is hilarious.

achievements are fun. why do devs add them if they aren't?

I didn't say they are not. But why would you put achievement over the game? From what he said, he wouldn't buy the game if he knew there is a big grind achievement.

I guess it's like buying an entire cake when you only want a slice. if they offered it by the slice it would be a different story
