Replay tutorial

For my first game, I switched the game language to german (beta) to check out how the overall quality is.
The translation is still a total mess, so right after the first tutorial message I restarted the game, switched the language back to english and created a new profile.

Seems, I am locked from the tutorial now?!
Is there any way to reset this?

EDIT (possible solutions so far):
1) This is a workaround if you accidentally skipped the tutorial like me and just want to "restart" the whole game:

That's what I thought.
It didn't, unfortunately.

Game progress should always be linked to profiles. This should be mandatory. If "different profiles" means - for example - "different family members": Why would a game designer decide to exclude other family members from the tutorial?

Running into the same thing here -- I got interrupted right as I sat down to play the first time, and now I can't get the tutorial to understand WTF is going on. Changing/resetting profile doesn't work, and I have no idea what/where "seeds option" even is?

is it possible to delete the profile save? i'm not too sure otherwise.

Forget the seed option, it doesn't work for me.

I found a solution myself.
Go to game properties in Steam and disable cloud save.
Then go to C:\users\*yourusername* \AppData\Roaming and delete the "Balatro" folder.
Start the game.

It should be now a clean fresh start. Works for me.

EDIT: It's so funny that you can't mark your own reply as thread solution. xD
Gonna edit the initial post, so that other players can find this if they face the same issue.

This is really a stupid design flaw.

More like a crap workaround IMO.

I played my profile a lot and I don't want to delete or mess my saves each time I want to show the tutorial once in a while to a several folks who come in my stream!

It is indeed.
Makes you wonder why the developers would decide to connect the tutorial completion to the game and not to the profile.

I ran into the same problem because it crashed mid-tutorial. reinstalling didn't work, neither did switching profiles or entering a seed.

Did you read the original post? If you are still right at the beginning of the game, you might want to reset everything by deleting your save folder. You can then start from scratch, tutorial included.

Some people also haven't seen the tutorial in the full release after playing any of the demos.

Personally I liked the tutorial when I played the first demo, and was looking forward to any potential changes in the full release. It's not just introductions to game mechanics, but an introduction to the joker card as a character that taunts you when you lose and compliments you when you win.

I liked how the "final boss" in the demos was on its own in the ante, and how the joker would comment something like "I hope you're prepared for this!" Idk, I felt like it added more personality to the game.

I am posting this in order to help some folks on MacOS.

In the Finder menu bar, click Go > Go to Folder and copy/paste and open this:

~/Library

Then search for "Balatro" while limiting the results in the "Library".
Delete the one Balatro folder that contains the saves.

Thank you, deleting the folder worked for me too. I managed to skip the tutorial while trying to get my audio settings correct. Adding the tutorial to the main menu would be a good idea I think!

Just a friendly tip ;
if you don't see the /AppData on C:\ , try to 'unhide' hidden items in explorer

And another important thing: you have to uncheck "Use Steam Cloud" inside the steam client, or you will not see the tutorial, too.
