The game is great, but there are some bosses that makes the game NOT FUN. For example, 'you start with 0 discards'. What I am supposed to do? It all comes to RNG, and RNG is fun sometimes here, but that's clearly unfair.

You can play junk hands as a discard if needed.

You can change boss blind with some card, and you can also make a plan to deal with boss blind abilites because you can clearly see in when playing small blind. And you can play junk hand as a way to discard.

There's even a legendary joker that just disables all boss effects, no questions asked. But aside from that, everything has counters, and every boss counters something.

I changed a boss effect because it would have been incredibly tedious, but it turned into the "only 1 hand" one

there's this one boss blind that deranks your played poker hands, when i get this i know my run is over. Even if i recover, I'm WAY behind so by the time i get to ante 8 im done and cant get enough score to progress. Also i had once a boss blind that required me to score 300K... what? this game is making everything it can to make you lose, and losing is not fun at all, and winning also, the balance should give you 33% chance to win, to keep it interesting, but for now, your chances of winning is 1%. poker is easier.

It is just the nature of these deckbuilding roguelike games that sometimes a boss will perfectly counter your exact build. Happened all the time in StS, happens here. If you have the entire game memorized you can avoid specific builds because you know they're most statistically likely to encounter this problem but sometimes it just happens.
