Just had the funniest run ever

- Immediately at start of run, get a joker (Pareidolia) that makes every card count as a face card
- In the very next shop, get two jokers that each give bonuses for each face card played
- Halfway through, get a joker that makes every played face card gold, giving me basically unlimited money

- Run into a boss blind that disables all face cards. I have to sell Pareidolia to play ANYTHING, and my deck doesn't work at all without it. Total wipeout.

It's such a crazy swing from insanely good luck -> insanely bad luck that I can't even be mad.

In summary: Devs, you made a good game and should feel good.

lmao I had a very similar run an hour ago, wow.

- started with a holographic (+10 mult) Smiley Face joker (+4 mult per face card that scores)
- then I got Pareidolia which was already a solid combo.
- then I got the Business Card joker I believe. it gave 1 in 2 chance to give $2 every time a face card gets played. I had this plus the Gold joker ($4 at end of round) which was giving me tons of money.
- THEN I got the "get $5 every time you discard 3 face cards at the same time" and started getting absurd amounts of money.

I was able to buy tons of card packs and rerolls and vouchers with the money, and eventually got a Boss where all cards were debuffed until I sold a joker, and I had already gotten enough money so i finally sold some of the money jokers. I then got some different ones that added chips / mult and ended up winning.

edit - just remembered, one of the later jokers I bought was called 'Scary Face' i believe, which added chips per face card played. that Pareidolia joker is an extremely cool card if you can match it with other face card jokers.

super unlucky finish for your run though. I think that boss also would have completely ended my run as well.

Oof, that's a painful end to a run, though yeah I'd just laugh at that kind of bad luck too.
Considering how rich you were, you could maybe have rerolled a lot in the previous two stores to get that joker that disables a boss blind when sold, and buying the boss reroll voucher or the tag if you're really lucky always work. But sometimes RNG just says nope :'D

same thing happened to me, but i was doing a challenge run where i had a copy of Pareidolia that i couldn't sell 😬 was killing it with 9 jokers up til that point and could easily have succeeded even without Pareidolia... if only i could have gotten rid of it.

i had a similar run like that as well lol, then i get a big blind final boss run that required me to reach 300k chips. could barely hit 150k lol
