Any downside to Endless?

Just won my first run! Is there any downside to continuing into endless? Or is it like poker where it's better to "cash out while ahead" Cheers.

It also is an opportunity to get more unlocks and achievements. I got 2 achievements on endless that I don't know I would get on normal mode.

Yeah I pulled the trigger and played endless. Thanks guys! I can't remember which roguelike it was in the past that punished me for playing endless, but just wanted to double check it wasn't the case here

Ok I Just noticed there's a streak mechanic, similar to binding of isaac. You look at it by opening stats screens.

I wonder if endless mode affects the wins?

Nope, once you win then you've won, whether you continue the run or not.
