You could, for example, try to beat the first blind without using your 2-3 killer cards, if your fate depends on it for the boss. Then you can skip the 2nd fight, to save cards.
It's a damage check, not much more. If you need 4 hands of 5 cards to barely survive each of the first fights, then yes, you're in trouble. Sacrifice some economy and utility jokers if you have to.
Good call, there is some menuing stuff I wish was a little more clear. I had no idea you could see that far into the run!
this is def the strat for this boss. looking ahead at the upcoming boss and planning accordingly is super important, as effective strategies for many of the bosses may change how you play the entire Ante, not just the Round (i think I'm using the correct terminology here, lol)
I think this affects things like the Wheel of Fortune tarot card (1 in 5 chance to foil/poly/holo a joker). i haven't tried it yet though, just a guess
