Well, at least the Curulean Bell or whatever it's called is way more manageable in the full game. lol
That said, Almost every time I've encountered it so far it was a cakewalk. Any run that would've lost to it would probably have lost to most other bosses at the same ante. My guess is you're all scrounging by when you're supposed to start steamrolling after a few antes, mostly due to tactics. I either lose to Ante 2-3's boss due to bad RNG (especially skipping too much coupled with bad RNG), or not at all. And the chance that you get Arm as your first boss is 1/23, less than 5 percent for each of the three bosses.
You could take the hit and just end it in one hand.
You could try to swap boss blind through joker/voucher/tag.
You could build wider to have 2 or 3 diff hands leveled.
That's just 3 ways off the top of my head.
Nah, it's called RNG. If you encounter The Arm first blind, just hold R and reset. Second blind is still manageable if you get some useful Jokers. Lastly, throw a few weak hands before playing your strongest one, you'll at least minimize the damage afterward.
