I have, ready to play, 5 Glass Red Seal Ace of Diamonds. Holo Blueprint + Brainstorm. My choices to copy are: Greedy Joker, Hanging Chad, Holo Supernova (Flush 5 @ +15), and Constellation @ x2.6. Which one should I copy for highest score? I'm at Small Blind, Ante 12, so I need 300M.
FWIW, I also have 2 Eris in the inventory with the Observatory voucher.
2 of your 3 scoring jokers activate when a card is scored. That means they can be at any position in your lineup (relative to Constellation). Nova being at only +15 makes it near irrelevant in your score.
So your leftmost joker should be Blueprint. Copying Constellation to its right. Then Brainstorm at any other position, copying the Blueprint. (Nova anywhere left of Brainstorm, small improvement)
The main reason to copy Contellation and not Chad is that copying chad gives you X1.5X1.5 = X2.25 more mult. Constellation's X2.6 is better.
I'm assuming your Flush Five hand is not at level 1.
EDIT: No idea why I counted it that way, glass cards are x2, not x1.5. Meaning Chad would have been better than Constellation. You got 1.4B, it could have been 3.2B.
Oh well, I don't feel too bad, at least you still got 100M+ and obliterated that score later anyway.
Don't.
X2.25 from Observatory is better than using the planet cards, in terms of immediate score.
Another saving grace, I wheel'd or Ecto'd a negative on the DNA at some point, so I'll never theoretically run out of glass
Congrats on unlocking Stuntman, GG!
Okay, last question on this post. I have the 2 eris. Is it worth to use one so I cvan have Hangman/Deaths in my stash to whittle down my extra cards? for some reason, I still havent pulled the +1 consumable voucher, and I have a Death in the shop rn
I do have Trading, but its a painfully slow process
Trading Card is absolutely fantastic at doing what it does.
If you use 1 of the 2 Eris, you lose about 1/3 of your score when you play a Flush Five. I'll let you decide if it's worth it. Use both, you lose around 50-55% of your score. (Edit: actually you'd lose less, I was not accounting for Constellation scaling up, ooopsie)
Also worth noting: as long as you carry at least 1 Eris in inventory, the shop will never offer you one. And Celestial packs won't contain another Eris, UNLESS Flush Five is your most played hand. (You have observatory, so you do have Telescope for sure. And that's what Telescope does, it does not care what planet cards you are holding.)
Welp, prepare for one heck of a screenshot then! LOL. Should have ditched the Nova though.
Now copy the Idol.
Replace it with what? Good question.
With Idol, Blueprint, Brainstorm, Trading Card and DNA, you're getting close to having a "perfect" situation. A deck 100% made of copies of a single card with Idol.
The best jokers would be others that can copy the Idol (read: Invisible joker) or jokers that retrigger scoring cards. In your case, that's Fibonacci. Or a 2 joker combo (Pareidolia + Sock and Buskin) which is a long shot and also uses too many joker slots.
Else, any Xmult joker would outperform Nova. As you said, Glass joker sounds great in your situation!
I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself on The Wall, as always. Didn't see until after the first hand that the Idol was on 7 of Diamons, not Aces
C7G5RNQF, no stake Black.
Final build: Holo Blueprint, negative Constellation @ ~ 2.8, holo Idol, negative DNA, Trading, Brainstorm, Odd Todd and Scholar (for chip count), negative Delayed Grat. Best hand: 2.537e17, Ante 14. about 20 Glass Red Seal Diamond Aces, with about half as many mults.
You had nice negative jokers there.
Bonus info about Idol, it selects a random card but with odds proportional to the content of your deck. So 10 Aces of Hearts in a 40 card deck would mean 25% of it selecting Ace of Hearts. No 8 of spades means it'll never ask for a 8 of spades.
