Lesson learned: do not depend on face cards. Unless you've already faced The Plant.
If you really want to play a build with an obvious weakness (like face cards, suits, single hand type, discards, hand size, etc.) then either prepare for the worst (always check the next boss and/or have Luchador, Chicot at hand) or live with it. Like people here keep reminding, it's not the RNG's fault if you could see it coming yet did absolutely nothing.
is it not enough everything is random? sometimes you're forced into a face card build because thats literally all there is.
Also... F the Fish...
That's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Having some games go wrong makes it all the more enjoyable when a run just works. That's what I love about this game. Every single run is different and you won't win them all.
