boss that only lets me draw 3 cards after each hand. i was just like.... welp im dead
i learned something interesting for this boss. you can discard 1 card, and it will still draw 3. so if you have 3 discards, discard 1 card each time and you'll end up with a massive hand which I've found makes it pretty easy.
Tip: the order of cards matters.

Finally managed by levelling up Straights and the "Four Fingers" joker which allows to make Straights -or Flushes- with only 4 cards. That joker was really a lifesaver for me
you want to get max interest every turn you can & buy plenty of tarot / planets
gauging when to break this rule out of necessity will come with practice
or just grab vagabond early & do a pauper run
early on be on the lookout for jokers that scale well with simple actions
( castle / fortune teller / constellation / spare trousers / etc )
or that give big flat bonuses ( blue joker / gros michel / etc )
or that make strong hands super simple ( smeared / shortcut )
don't focus too much on strong hands if you can't make them consistently
thinning & re-suiting your deck can work wonders to spam strong hands, sure
but you can totally focus on high card or pair & win with them
alternatively roll the dice & go for a broken combo like vampire + midas
and do not underestimate burnt joker / trading card like I did for a while
yes they'll cost you a discard every round but the payoff is great
Burnt Joker requires... selling 50 cards before it unlocks; which is a fair few if you play the game normally, though you can grind it.
A 5x1 vs. 15x2 is huge, when you've got +chip jokers.
Early on you can take Econ Jokers, otherwise I recommend getting 1-2 jokers of each:
+Chips +Mult +X Mult
Early on I like to not buy stuff (unless good jokers) and go up to 25$ to maximize interest because early blinds are easy anyway. Then you have decent economy. I never reroll early on, buy only good jokers, I buy ALL tarot boosters and try to focus on one or 2 suits, like make diamond/heart cards into spades/clubs for example, then use bonus/mult on the highest cards on that suit. If you have enough money, I'd also buy planet boosters and buy all the jupiters.
That's it, works every single time for me.
You'll still need an actual strategy but having things like +50 chips or +10 mult proc on literally every hand will help you more than just, say, a couple straight-enhancers. And multiplier, well, multipliers, become OP if put on top of an already strong setup.
