My save file was lost

I've played the game for over 6 hours and when i went in to play for some reason my profile and all my unlocks are gone. Not sure if there is anyway i can get it back?

just happened to me, crash out of the blue on steamdeck, all unlocks from a week of play gone and now back on the tutorial. pretty frustrating tbh. Only thing i can think is I had possibly been just putting the sd to sleep rather than closing the game so wondering if it never actually saves between runs unless the game is closed? (which aint ideal for sd usage)

You can try to download your savegame from the steam cloud if it hasn't been overwritten yet. Link: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=2379780

The location of the savegame files is: %appdata%\Balatro or C:\Users\{Your Username}\AppData\Roaming\Balatro
AppData is hidden by default, so you need to enable to see hidden files first.

Unfortunately it looks like if it was there it has already been overridden. Thanks though

THANK YOU!! I was dumb and accidently messed up my profile but quickly searched before closing the game and found your comment - was able to restore my current progress! TY!! ^_^
